Özet

The effects of ASTM Class C fly ash incorporation on mechanical properties and sulfuric acid resistance of concrete has been investigated within the scope of this study. Cement was replaced with fly ash up to 70%. Test results indicate that sulfuric acid resistance of steam-cured concrete could be improved significantly by incorporation of fly ash. Under standard curing conditions, the strength values of high-volume fly ash concretes were satisfactory except 1-day strength. Curing by steam helped to increase the 1-day strength values. However, long-term strength values decreased significantly for concrete mixtures over 30% of fly ash replacement levels. (c) 2005 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
