Bu çalışmada, enerji kaynakları ve dünyadaki dağılımları, petrolün enerji olarak
kullanımındaki ekonomik politiği ve rezervleri tartışılacaktır. Petrol üretiminde ve
tüketimindeki bölgesel dağılımlarının analizini yapacağımız bu çalışmada, üretiminde
tekelleşme eğilimi olan OPEC’in teorik yapısı, üretim kotaları, üye ülkelerin rezervleri
ve fiyat politikaları değerlendirilecektir. Diğer yönden, petrolün yakın ikamesi olan
doğalgazın piyasası ve oluşumları üzerinde de durulacaktır. Dünya genelindeki
doğalgaz rezervlerinin dağılımı, yeni gelişen GECF’nin (Gaz İhraç Eden Ülkeler
Forumu) yapısı, tekel olabilirliği üzerindeki değerlendirme ile OPEC ve GECF’nin
karşılaştırılması yapılacaktır.
In this article, sources of energy and their distributions in the world, economic policy in
the common use of oil and its reserves will be discussed. Also in this research, in which
the analysis of regional distributions of production and consumption of oil, the
theoretical structure of OPEC that has a tendency towards monopoly in production, its
production quotas, the reserves and price policies of member countries will be
evaluated. On the other hand, natural gas that is a close substition for oil, and its
constitution will be touched upon. There will also be an evaluation of natural gas
reserves all over the world, newly developing GECF structure, its probability of being a
monopoly and comparison of OPEC and GECF.
