Özet

NiCrBSi powders are used in hard surface coating applications. The mechanical and physical properties of required powders result in different compositions. In this study, the effect of atomisation parameters such as alloy composition, gas pressure, overheating of melt in industrial atomization scale were investigated. Atomised powders were characterized by particle size distribution, SEM/EDS, oxygen content and hardness test. The effect of atomization parameters to final powder properties were discussed.
