Abstract

Several types of rings, including local perfect rings and rings Morita-equivalent to lower
triangular 2x2 matrix rings over a division ring share the following property: They admit nonzero
homomorphisms between non-projective modules. We characterize rings with the said property and
we will talk about this characterization.
