Abstract

In this study, the synthesis of the signals with the given time-frequency domain energy distributions has been accomplished using the wavelet ridges. The synthesis program has been written in MATLAB. The time-frequency domain specifications of the wavelet ridges of signals have been given interactively by the user. The monocomponent and multicomponent signals with sinusodial, hyperbolic or linear ridges can be obtained. Also, the specific points of the ridges in time-frequency domain can be given by the user.
