The nonequilibrium dynamic phase transition properties of a two dimensional FeC2 monolayer in the presence of a time dependent sinusoidally oscillating magnetic field have been studied by using both mean field approximation with Glauber type of stochastic process and Monte Carlo simulation technique. The variation of the Curie temperature of the system with the amplitude and period of the external magnetic field have been investigated and temperature dependence of the magnetization of the system is presented for selected external field parameters. Moreover, the dynamic hysteresis curves of the system have been obtained for a wide range of temperature. Numerical results of the present study indicate the controllability of the dynamic magnetic properties of two dimensional FeC2 sheet by amplitude and period of the external magnetic field.
