Özet

Throughout human life, there has been a need to construct engineering structures to meet many fundamental needs such as shelter, production, storage, transportation, and water supply. These structures are subjected to specific static and dynamic loads throughout their service lives. The design of structures is typically done by defining dead loads, live loads, earthquake loads, and wind loads as standards. However, in recent years, terrorist attacks or accidents resulting in explosions have been observed to cause structural damage and collapses in the load-bearing systems of engineering structures, leading to loss of life. In this study, the variation of explosive quantities and distances to the structure for blast loads that may occur as a result of accidents or terrorist attacks has been evaluated.
