Despite this, issues are encountered in this process as a result of the challenges of companies in the transformation to industry 4.0. When the literature is analyzed, the challenges faced by the companies during the Industry 4.0 transformation process are mentioned, but it is not revealed which ones are more important in these studies. Considering all these, this study aims to contribute by revealing the importance order of the challenges encountered in the process of transformation to Industry 4.0 both in sectoral and academic terms. In the study, Grey Relational Analysis (GRA), which is a multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) method, was preferred. It is known that Gray Relational Analysis gives good results even with a small number of data. In the study, 5 expert opinions (EO) were consulted. It is thought that the order of importance obtained in our study will guide policy makers and sectoral practitioners.
