Özet

Fascet joint injection using Bupivacaine supplemented with Glucose Monohydrate (0.5% Marcaine Heavy) performed 40 cases with low back and/or leg pain were admitted to our clinic during the last one year period. Denervation using absolute alcohol was done to three patients whose pains were relieved after two successful sessions but reoccured. Complete anaesthesia which disappeared within hours, occurred in one patient to whom denervation with alcohol was performed and in another patient with fascet blockade. The appearance of spinal anaesthesia after alcohol injection, which disappeared within hours was not reported previously although it was mentioned among the complications of fascet joint blockade. In this report, this situation was discussed under the view of literature.
