Özet

Plastic bronchitis is a rare pulmonary disorder associated with various conditions like cystic fibrosis, asthma, pulmonary infection and cyanotic congenital cardiac diseases. Diagnosis of plastic bronchitis is made by means of bronchoscopy and/or evidence of the characteristic bronchial casts. Here we report a case of a 7-year-old boy with mild persistant asthma who developed plastic bronchitis mimicking foreign body aspiration.
