Özet

This study has two aims. First, it aspires to uncover how European integration crisis is explained and what kind of reforms are proposed in European studies literature. Second, it aims to study what kind of strategies European capital and labour groups as well as European institutions develop regarding the reform process and debates around the future of European integration. It argues that whereas mainstream reads crisis as mismanagement, critical political economy contributes to situate Euro-zone crisis within structural dynamics, integrate policies of social classes and question contradictions and alternatives. The representatives of European capital prioritizes strategies to form digital Single Market, whereas European labour prioritizes a more ambitious Social Agenda to guarantee social justice, decent work and just digitalization.
