In recent years, companies in the hospitality and tourism industry have been facing the competitive situation under the circumstance of globalization. Human resource management plays all important role to Survive in the competitive environment. Especially, a staff scheduling problem is one of the important issues in human resource management, where allocation of the resources to the tasks has to be done in all effective way. Traditionally, only cost objective has been considered for solving staff scheduling problems. However, leveling of resources Is also an important objective at the same time. Moreover, operational precedence constraints among the tasks and skill requirements for the resources should be considered. In this paper, this multiobjective human resource allocation problem will be solved by a new hybrid multistage decision-based genetic algorithm. In addition, a fuzzy-logic controller will be used for parameter fine-tuning of genetic algorithm.
