Abstract
Examples of culture-oriented spatial transformation can be planned top-down through institutional strategies or emergeorganically from the bottom up, as creative actors gradually infiltrate the space. Such developments are often supported byre-functionalising industrial heritage areas with branding objectives or by triggering site-specific dynamics. The creative andcultural capacity revealed after transformation can be identified using both macro- and micro-scale indicators. These includethe cultural employment and production structures, spatial organisation models, and liveability levels. This study aims toreveal, from a spatial perspective, the models, indices, and metrics used to analyse the creative value and cultural capacitygenerated by concepts such as creative cities, cultural quarters, and hubs. By systematically analyzing the internal structureof creativity-based cultural production, this study aims to offer a concise approach to the literature and provide a strategicroadmap for developing site-specific standards and analytical models for potential areas that have not yet undergonetransformation.
