Abstract

Significant information has been obtained in recent years about the condition of waterfront regions of Western Anatolia in the Neolithic Age. The source of this information is the excavations carried out especially in Kemalpasa-Ulucak, Izmir-Yesilova, those in Aliaga-Ege Gubre and Torbali-Dedecik (Heybelitepe). In addition, surface researches also reveal some information about this period.
