Abstract

Catalase enzymes of different origin (fungal or bacterial) are becoming an important method for the removal of residual hydrogen peroxide after textile bleaching. Catalase treatment leads to significant savings of water, wastewater, energy, and time, as well as their ease of use and ecological benefits.
