Özet

In Knowledge Management (KM) area, researchers presumably would encounter different conceptual/research models and frameworks -according to their approaches/perspectives- under same/close titles. As just stated, these conceptual perception differences arise from the diversity of approaches/views and main dimensions of KM emphasized by authors in KM literature. As a matter of fact, KM has multi-disciplinary characteristics. It is aimed in this paper to define KM's least common denominators to make it comply with other universal sciences. As quoted from Simon "An early step toward understanding any set of phenomena is to learn what kinds of things there are in the set-to develop taxonomy" (Eppler, 2008). Therefore in this exploratory work, after summarizing previous KM understanding and systematization methods, firstly "Implementations of KM"- which is assumed as set of KM phenomena- are settled to model which is developed from KM perspectives and KM dimensions used in KM literature. As the next step "the disciplines related to KM" - which are regarded as causes of multi-faced structure of KM- are proclaimed; aiming to solve conceptual gaps in KM. For the further researcher; to provide closer/more relations between these KM implementations, disciplines (in the light of theories) and the conceptual gaps are suggested to clarify our minds about KM and reach consensus.
