Abstract

Hyperlipidemia is a frequent complication after renal transplantation. Cyclosporine therapy is an important cause of hyperlipidemia. It is still controversial whether C-0 or C-2 is the most effective way to monitor blood cyclosporine concentrations to guide dosages. We sought to evaluate the relationship of C-0 or C-2 to serum lipid levels in the early and late posttransplant periods among adolescent renal transplant recipients.
