Özet
This paper analyses a previously unpublished milestone kept in the Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum of Samsun in northern Turkey. Through this new milestone from Pontus we gain insight into an hitherto unknown governor of Pontus, Lucius Valerius Larcius Turbo, during the third century a.d. The fragment of another milestone which was found near Nicomedia and belongs to the period of the Emperor Florian is also presented.
