Özet

One of the main objectives in this work is to test the effectiveness of allopurinol in the prevention of free radical injury following 6 hours ischemia and 60 minutes reperfusion. A three parameter log-normal distribution has been adapted to be used as a probability model to fit the skewed data collected on 50 rats. Statistical hypothesis about the effectiveness of treatments has been tested. Also confidence intervals has been placed on the mean effect of treatments.
