Gender Diversity on Corporate Boards: A Road to Sustainability

The Project titled, “Gender Diversity in Corporate Boards: The Path to Sustainability” and coordinated by Dean of DEU Faculty of Business Prof. Dr. Çağnur Balsarı has been deemed worthy of funding by European Union Erasmus+ Action Type KA220-ADU Cooperation Partnerships in Adult Education in 2021. The Project team members are Assoc. Prof. Seçil Sigalı from Department of Maritime Faculty, Department of Logistics Management, Assoc. Dr. Sumeyra Duman and Assist. Prof. Selcen Kılıçaslan Gökoğlu from Faculty of Business, Department of Business Administration. Uludağ University (Turkey), Universidad De Leon (Spain), Vilniaus Gedimino Technikos Universitetas (Lithuania), Odisee (Belgium), R.P. de With Beheer b.v. (Netherlands) are the partner organizations for this collaboration. The main aim of this Project is to identify internal corporate governance mechanisms that support “gender diversity and women voice” on corporate boards of different cultures, and find the communalities to promote them across countries.
