Coal is produced from underground by different production methods. In particular, subsidence occurs on the ground in caving production methods. The subsidence mechanism varies depending on each production basin and even different production methods. Many factors in the subsidence mechanism are effective. Parameters such as slope of the bad, depth, bad thickness and features of the rocks affect the amount of collapse and the mechanism of collapse. In this study, the subsidence and the collapse mechanisms in Soma, Tunçbilek, Çayirhan, Suluova basins were investigated.
