Özet

Two Greco-Roman cities are situated in active landscapes, with changes in the river valley effectively terminating the occupation of Priene, while a volcano snuffed out Pompeii. This paper compares the two cities in terms of lotion, food supply; water supply, and building materials, each closely related to the geological setting.
