An unrestricted state whose rights and powers have not been determined beforehand is a very important threat to the freedom of the individual. Because, as a result of every power whose borders are not drawn to the law, the concept of arbitrariness emerges, and it is possible to do everything that is desired based on oppression or force. Therefore, Friedrich August von Hayek argue that the state should have an authority limited by laws, rather than having unlimited power and authority. The aim of this work was to move from the liberal thinker Friedrich August von Hayek's limited power-limited the state understanding; reveal the thoughts of the about in which situations (market economy, presentation of service and protection of freedom) the state has authority and how it can be used.
