Özet

A 22-year-old female patient was admitted to the intensive care unit with subdural hematoma, brain edema, hemopneumothorax, and liver laceration after an in-vehicle traffic accident. Upon examining the patient, ptosis was perceived in the right eye; anisocoria and lack of light reflex were observed in the right eye. The left internal carotid artery cervical segment dissecting aneurysm was detected on neuroangio-computed tomography. During the outpatient follow-up that was done 3 months later, the ptosis had improved in the right eye. Improvements were also seen in visual acuity and minimal anisocoria in the right eye. In this article, we report a case of intracranial aneurysm compression as a cause of oculomotor nerve palsy after trauma.
