Project Abstract

TÜBİTAK 1002 Short Term R&D Funding Program is applied to meet the needs that arise during the execution of the thesis titled " Investigation of Spatial and Temporal Change of Fish Farming in Muğla Earthen Ponds ". Within the scope of the study, chlorophyll-a and total suspended matter (TSM) parameters in earthen ponds will be compared with the measurement methods in the algorithm to be used with in-situ and satellite imagery. The correlation between the methods will be determined and the relationship of significance will be examined. Thus, the importance of using digital technology in the monitoring of water quality in earthen ponds where marine fish are grown in coastal ecosystems will be revealed.
