We are at a key moment, where the knowledge economy offers new opportunities to prosper, with countries in EUROPE APOSTATING FOR NEW DEVELOPMENT MODELS based on AN INCLUSIVE AND SUSTAINABLE ECONOMIC GROWTH. And the strengthening of entrepreneurship is decisive as a cross-cutting element in the formation of people fit to be incorporated into the dynamics of the socio-economic development of a Europe with profound needs for change. But also, for all this we have to design innovative methodologies that create useful and beneficial synergies between the different actors that aim to solve these social challenges.
Therefore, HERE aims to design a methodology that allows the creation of companies, and therefore jobs, within the same neighborhood by the same neighbors. We will work in degraded neighborhoods and therefore work with people at risk of exclusion. The aim is to promote what we will call SOCIAL ECONOMY OF PROXIMITY. That is, we will map the needs of the neighborhood and then we will form the same neighbors, who are in vulnerable situations, so that it is themselves who create companies that meet those neighborhood needs. The project aims to find and analyze the best practices of similar experiences, carry out a mapping of opportunities in degraded neighborhoods, carry out an incubation of entrepreneurship projects with the neighbors themselves and measure their social impact.
