Yüksel Proje has made an official
application, presented in Appendix I, for “Analysis Report for the Ship
Maneuvering Interaction Between Ambassadori Batumi Island Project and
Neighboring Facility
on 04.02.2025. An online meeting was held with Yüksel Project officials on
various dates regarding the project. In the meetings, it was aimed to prepare a
report that would outline the situation in general terms, to evaluate the berthing
areas to be made with double anchors, and to reveal all dimensions of the
interaction in terms of maneuvering safety. In addition, a consensus was
reached on developing and proposing alternative plans. In the second stage, it
was planned to develop modeling the proposed plans on the bridge simulator and
test them with maneuver simulation tests.
Within
the scope of this prepared report, the maneuver safety of the double anchor
maneuver performed with a design ship with 140 meters Length Overall was
evaluated by taking the 3rd developed site plan as reference. In addition, the
proposed berthing plan was explained by considering the field constraints.
The maneuver studies carried out for the interaction of “Terminal 1”
and “Ambassadori Batumi Island Project” and the results obtained by taking into
account the design principles are explained at the end of the report.
