Prof. SEVİNÇ ÖZKUL

Biography

Sevinç ÖZKUL, who was born in 1963 in Burdur,  graduated from Uludağ University Balıkesir Engineering Faculty Civil Engineering Department in 1984. She completed her master's degree in ITU Environmental Engineering Department in 1988 and her doctorate degree in the Hydraulic, Hydrology, and Water Resources program of DEU Civil Engineering Department in 1996.

She worked as a research assistant between 1984-1988 at UU Balıkesir Faculty of Engineering and as a lecturer between 1988-1991. Later, he worked as a research assistant in the Department of Civil Engineering at DEU Engineering Faculty between the years of 1991-1996, as a lecturer in 1996, as an Assistant Professor in 1997, and was appointed as an Associate Professor in 2001, and Professor in 2010.

With more than 60 national and international articles and papers on hydrological models, management of water resources, the impact of climate change on water resources, evaluation of hydrological data and statistical hydrology, 1 international book on the design of observation networks, 4 book editorials and 8 book chapters on data management.
