Biography
I am a molecular biologist specialized in cancer and zebrafish development. I have a BSc. in Molecular Biology and Genetics (MBG) from METU and a PhD. in MBG from İ.D. Bilkent University. I worked on Slit-Robo signaling in liver cancer during my Ph.D., then performed a post-doc in Freiburg University - Germany on zebrafish development. Later, with a TUBITAK-2232 fellowship, I moved back to İ.D. Bilkent University. Currently, I am working as a researcher at Dokuz Eylul University (DEU) - İzmir Biomedicine and Genome Center (IBG-izmir).
